Tennis autobiography. Hull Jacobs (1908-97) and Wills Moody dominated American women's tennis in the 1930's. In all, Hull Jacobs won 10 Grand Slam titles including five singles Championships. In 1933, Jacobs became the first woman to break with tradition by wearing man-tailored shorts at Wimbledon.

1st UK edition. 8vo. xii + 212pp. Photographic frontis, 31 plates. Titlepage and last leaf foxed, page edges foxed. Original cloth. A very good copy.
