Biography and instructional hints from British Tennis player Mike Sangster who, despite never winning a Grand Slam title, had a run of close calls in the early and mid 1960's, getting to the Semi-Finals of Wimbledon, the US Open and the Quarter Finals of the Australian Open in 1961. He also holds the record for the most Davis Cup matches played, winning 43 out of 65.

1st edition. 8vo. 174pp. plus 14 pages of photos and frontis. Dust-wrapper, lightly rubbed. Good condition. Signed nicely by Sangster to the fly-leaf (not dedicated).
