Cricket autobiography of the popular Kent and England wicket-keeper-batsman. Leslie Ethelbert George Ames (1905-90) is still the only wicket-keeper to score 100 first-class centuries, which he did for Kent and England between 1926 and 1951. He was England's keeper on the 1932-33 Ashes tour and devotes a chapter to his experiences of the Bodyline business.

8vo. 208pp. Frontispiece, 10 pages of photographs. Two ink signatures and note to front pastedown and fly-leaf. Dust-wrapper, very good. Signed nicely by Ames on the title-page.
