All volumes are complete and nice and square bearing only occasional handling marks and rubbed edges or foxing to fore-edges but being largely bright and clean. Some volumes bear ring binding holes and vary occasional leaves are loose (only 3 seen) New endpapers to all but a few volumes, the majority bearing the bookplate of David Prichard. Light shelf wear present to all bindings and some corners very mildly bumped with the only significant damage to bindings being a small (0.5 - 1cm) closed tear to the leather at the tail of the spine occurring on volumes XXX-XXXI & XXXII-XXXIII.
