An appreciation of Douglas Clark, the great Huddersfield and England forward and a member of their 'Team of All the Talents' before the First World War. Clark also appeared for England, notably in the famous 'Rorke's Drift Test' in 1914. He was also a famous Cumberland wrestler.

8vo. 38pp. 6 pages of illustrations. Original limp cloth pictorial wrappers, soiled. Two obituary cuttings from 1957 pasted inside back cover.
