A fabulous complete set of boxing programmes from London's Empress Hall between 30 May 1949 and 23 May 1950, specially bound in a presentation volume dedicated on the cover to Reg Gutteridge, then of the Evening News, with fighters including Jack London, Alf Hines, Ronnie Clayton, Al Phillips and Dick Turpin.

8vo. c300pp. Leather-covered boards. Boards lightly rubbed to edges. The printed title and dedication to the front is badly faded but still just readable. Good condition. Reg Gutteridge's copy, with a handwritten second dedication 'To Reg' inscribed to inside cover and signed by the promoters (dated 1980).
