Old Trafford, 4th Test, July 26-31, 1956. Jim Laker's Test match. With 19-90, the best ever figures in first-class cricket, Laker spun Australia to defeat and enabled England to retain the Ashes. It might have been ideal conditions - but Lock was at the other end. Earlier, Richardson and Sheppard scored hundreds for England (although Cowdrey opened with the former).

25.5 x 15.5cm. Fully printed to end of both first innings and Harvey's wicket (end of day 3). Burke's wicket (which happened late on day 3) added in ink, along with a few further ink scores. The rest of the match is not completed. Central horizontal fold. Very good condition.
