Old Trafford, 4th Test, July 26-31, 1956. Jim Laker's Test match. With 19-90, the best ever figures in first-class cricket, Laker spun Australia to defeat and enabled England to retain the Ashes. It might have been ideal conditions - but Lock was at the other end. Earlier, Richardson and Sheppard scored hundreds for England (although Cowdrey opened with the former).
25.5 x 15.5cm. Fully printed to end of both first innings and Harvey's wicket (end of day 3). Burke's wicket (which happened late on day 3) added in ink, the rest completed in pencil. Central horizontal fold. Good condition.
