A history of Fettes. Contains numerous references to sport at the school including a colour plate of a house rugby match on Bigside in 1880. Among those reminiscing are GF Campbell (1872-81), H. Hamilton Fyfe (1881-87), and J.A. Stevenson (1896-1902).

Large 8vo. 284pp. Colour frontispiece (tissue-guard), 17 further plates. Original buckram, gilt title to spine and front. A very good copy.
