A history of golfing in East Kent at Sandwich and Deal. Campbell was the great-grandson of Robert Chambers and involved in laying out the courses at Deal, Rye and Killarney, among others. This book is a celebration of the remodelling of the two courses following extensive damage caused by coastal defences and enemy action during the war. With a foreword by Bernard Darwin.

1st edition.Small 4to. 40pp. Profusely illustrated with b/w photographs, folding course plans, hole maps on art paper. Original cloth-backed paper-covered boards, lightly foxed. Title and emblems in blue to front. Short closed tear to edge of two internal pages. Good condition.
