Official souvenir programme for a match between L. Amarnath's Indian XI and a Professional XI, played at Burnley Cricket Club on September 11th 1946. The match was organised for the end of the Indian cricket tour of England in 1946 and all the Indian players were in the tour squad, including Amarnath, Mankad, Hindlekar, Hazare and Nayudu. The Professional team included E.A. Martindale, W. Place, E. Paynter, J.H. Parks and A.L. Wharton.

8pp. Staple removed. Lightly creased throughout with some grubby marks and some scores in pencil. A fair copy of a rare cricket programme.
