Two letters relating to an enquiry about the Northern Nomad(s) Cricket Club - the recipient was hoping for some information about a possible book that had been published on the club. Jacob Wakefield, of Sedgwick House, referred the recipient on to Wordsworth, who "took much interest in the origin of the club". The letter from Gordon G Wordsworth, who was the last surviving grandchild of the famous poet, could add little, although he did confirm that the club was revived after the Great War "flourishing especially in the neighbourhood of Liverpool".

Dated 1931 & 1932. The first handwritten and the second typed with handwritten signature. Both in very good condition.
