Cricket scorecard. Scarborough, September 1, 1888. This seems to have been a 9-a-side left-handed match between "England", including WG Grace, Lord Harris and Lord Hawke, and "Middlesex". Despite Grace scoring 52 it seems that the match-winning performance was by HF de Paravicini, who scored 42, coming in at number 7 (of only 9). A very rare scorecard of an unusual match.

18 x 12.5cm. Central fold mark. Small closed tear to top edge. Paper residue to reverse, where removed from an album. Good.
