NATIONAL SPORTING CLUB 1936 BOXING PROGRAMME (EMPRESS STADIUM, EARL'S COURT) - INCLUDING WALSH V CAPLAN

Official boxing programme for the bouts held at the Empress Stadium, Earl's Court, on November 16th, 1936. The bouts included Jimmy Walsh v Benny Caplan and Jimmy Vaughan v Boyo Rees.

This programme belonged to the prominent Communist journalist George Sinfield when he was Sports Editor of the Daily Worker, and includes some of his neat notes within. The staples have rusted and are now removed. Good condition.
