OLD ALLEYNIANS V MR C.S. MARRIOTT'S XI 1950 CRICKET SCORECARD

Official scorecard for the match played at Dulwich Common on April 23rd, 1950, between the old boys of Dulwich College and a team put together by C.S. Marriott of Kent, who had been master in charge of cricket at the school. The Old Alleynians included three of their greatest players - Trevor Bailey, S.C Griffith and H.T. Bartlett, and seemed to augment their team with some county pros, including Shirreff, Wait and Wilcox. Marriott's team included Laker, Cox, WJ Edrich, JD Goddard and ERT Holmes. Part completed neatly in pencil. Very good.
