Official programme for the athletics meeting held at Fenner's on May 17, 1948. The One Mile race was won by Roger Bannister, then a 19 year old undergraduste at Exeter College, Oxford, in a time of 4 mins. 16.6 secs.

22.5 x 14cm. Single folded sheet. Horizontal fold mark and some light staining. Competitor's positions and performances written in ink (some smudged). Good.
