Scarce 1st edition. 12mo. xx, 266pp. plus 40 pages of publisher's adverts to rear and 3 wonderful double page plates of a full bearded gentleman skater in a topper. Illustrations and diagrams in-text throughout. Very good condition. Text block clean and bright betraying only slights marking to one or two leaves and slight rubbing to page edges. ex-libris stamp of Arthur N. Foxe - The Skating Library to lower right of half title. small 6 cm tear to ffep half title join. Rebacked very neatly with original red cloth boards, gilt titles to spine. Some rubbing and mild bumping. A very nice copy of a scarce title.
