THE ILLUSTRATED CRICKET AND SPORTING NEWS - NOVEMBER 1931 (CONTINUED AS THE INDIAN CRICKETER)

A very rare early edition of The Illustrated Cricket and Sporting News, Vol. 1, No. 8., published in Karachi in November 1931. This was a monthly cricket journal  billed as "An Independent Journal devoted chiefly to the interests of Indian Cricket". It only lasted for 8 issues (this being the last) before continuing briefly as the Indian Cricketer. Contributors include H. Harvey Day, P.N. Polishwalla and J Naoomal.

Paperback. 4to. Central fold and a few small nicks to edges of paper covers. A rare survival. [Padwick 3866].
