Facsimile of a sketchbook filled with drawings by the American artist Lloyd Kelly of the 1993 Kentucky Derby winning horse Sea Hero, owned by Paul Mellon, to whom the original book was presented on the occasion of his birthday. 

Small 8vo. c40pp. Fabric-covered boards. Very good condition. A rare, privately commissioned and circulated book; includes Mellon's unmarked gift-card, which is slipped in.
